Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Program for Arabic & Islamic studies:
It was launched on 1998, in cooperation with California-Berkeley University, aiming to widen the knowledge of Arabic & Islamic worlds, consisting of five branches: General researches program, visiting professor program, higher studies students, fund of financing Arabic studies (including culture, history, social sciences related, vocational aspect) and conferences fund, acquisition important books & rare scripts in Arabic language.
General subjects included in program effective with (2000) year:
A) Arabic identity.
B) Fellowship of graduates program.
C) Visiting professor/lecturer program.
D) After doctorate fellowship program
E) Other scientific initiatives
Also there is a fund for financing university scholarships, this program supports the fund of university students who are working on projects and letters related to "Arab identity" subject.
- Five programs have been allocated in the Center which are:
- Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Charitable foundation program for visiting professors.
- Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Charitable foundation program for visiting scientists, and higher studying students.
- Fund of charitable foundation of Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud for financing researches.
- Fund of charitable foundation of Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud for financing external communications.
- Constructing headquarter offices for middle east studies program.
King Abdul Aziz Center for Arabic & Islamic studies in Bologna University-Italy:
Aiming to enrich Arabic language teaching for students of International Relations University, and representatives of other Russian organization, bridging communications between Russian culture & Arabian and Islamic cultures.
The center extends its services to the students of university affiliated to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and for those who works with governmental & administrative bodies, also to companies employees concerned of trade & culture exchange with Arab world.
Also with concern of center is authoring books and syllabuses in field of Arabic language teaching for diplomatic conversation, setting program of calibration and tests, connecting with specialists in Arab world, conducting educational training in Arabic language , translation, teaching Arabic literature.
The center is preparing base for cultural cooperation depending on high scientific and academic principles ensuring connection among cultured elites, and establishing a civilized relations to strengthen the political & commercial relations.
Program Sultan bin Abdul Aziz for supporting Arabic language in Enesco:
This program launched in cooperation between the foundation and Enesco organization for supporting Arabic language, researches translation, issued books, minutes of sessions, meetings,field reports, with latest contribution by foundation is supporting book titled "Philosophy … Freedom school" issued by Enesco organization to enhance the use of Arabic language within Enesco.
Cooperation with Missouri University for Science & Technology-USA:
The foundation has adopted an agreement with Missouri University to enhance cultural and scientific cooperation with Kingdom's universities, and benefiting from its experience and expertise of Missouri university in remote education, which is among the most renowned American university specializes in engineering, technology and sciences, agreement also includes exchanging visits between Saudi academics and Missouri's affiliates, enabling chance for Saudi students to enroll within university program. This agreement yielded in signing of cooperation protocol between Missouri University and Kind Saud University, including items among it scholarship program, visiting professors program.
Cooperation program with Oxford University-UK:
Aiming to contribute in preserving Islamic cultural heritage, supporting Islamic studies in Oxford university, allocating scholarships for Saudi students in museums & archeology field, erecting exhibition hall for Islamic remains within university, restoration of British Ash Moline Museum.
Cooperation with Islamic organization for educations, science, and culture (Isesco):
This program launched in 1999, including finding channels of cooperation with academies, research, scientific, & international culture centers, through exhibiting of various cultural & educational activities and serving the cultural institutions in Arab and Islamic worlds for supporting of its cultural and educational role in developing capabilities of individuals and societies, this supports includes covering expenses of (17) visiting professors for teaching Arabic language and Islamic education to (17) countries.
Supporting Islamic consultant in Malaysia:
The foundation allocated annual contribution for the Islamic consultant in Malaysia-Kuala Lampur, to support what consultants' office doing in Kuala Lampur of religious activities, cultural, scientific lessons in mosques, lectures, participation in Islamic conferences, wising, guidance thru written, heard, vision media, convening calling camps aiming to educate youth of accurate Islamic education.
Supporting Abdul Aziz bin Baz Center for Islamic Studies in Bin Taymia University – in India:
Foundation has supported center of Scholar Abdul Aziz bin Baz for Islamic studies in Bin Taymia University – India, shouldering salaries of (4) researchers in center, also supporting scientific researches and call, authoring Islamic books and it's translations
